A new model...Note from your shoemaker
As you probably know, the Nutrail Air has retired. We still have a few sizes left at discounted prices.
We made room in the warehouse to bring in a new model. We've been looking for a highly durable mesh for a long time, and our perseverance finally paid off. The Nutrail Reflect (NR) is an upgraded version of the popular Nutrail Air. It is made of three layers: a reflective silver honeycomb material sandwiched between breathable highly abrasion-resistant mesh and polyester fabric. The durability of this mesh more than meets our standards; we wanted it to be more versatile than the Nutrail Air with light mesh. Its abrasion resistance elevates its possibilities.
Several hardcore friends and I have put the Nutrail Reflect with this new mesh to the test for several months, and the result is simply impressive: no signs of weakness, wear, or tear. Joe, our most hardcore tester, a photographer at Elope Telluride, has a hard time finding shoes that can last more than a couple of months as he is constantly kneeling down and dragging the tops of his shoes to take pictures. To my delight, his pair of Nutrail Reflect don't show any signs of tear after 4 months, which is a big deal for Joe.

Get Ahead of the Holiday Shipping Cost!
We expect that shipping costs will go up again during the holiday season, starting in early October. This is a common trend that we’ve been seeing year after year since 2020. For this period (October through January) our flat rate of $7.99 won’t be available, and you will have to choose your postal service during checkout. We know that it is a pain for everyone but welcome to the Black Friday - Holiday craziness! It is a good reason to shop local every time you can. We certainly appreciate your business and look forward to serving you.

Inspire US with Your SOMs’ Adventures
Based on the pictures we've received from our customers, we wonder what cannot be done in our SOM shoes. The above pictures show a 79-year-old woman in great shape hiking in Iceland, a para-glider over the Dune du Pilat in France, some fun at the skate-park, some folks wearing their SOMs in tight slot canyons in Utah, and a man running in Dinosaur National Monument in Utah. It seems there is no limit.
It is always a pleasure to get pictures from SOM wearers, especially when traveling in exotic places. It feels good to know that our shoes are taken to so many beautiful places in the world.
